Cruise ships play a vital role in our local economy, bringing thousands of visitors each year who contribute to our vibrant tourism industry. Our experienced pilots navigate our visiting cruise ships to their chosen anchorage which allows passengers and crew alike to be tendered ashore by our experienced local tender skippers to experience these wonderful Islands.

Cruise ships usually anchor in St. Mary’s Roads, between St. Mary’s and Samson, or at Crow Sound on the Eastern side of St. Mary’s. Passengers are then tendered to St. Mary’s or an off-island by St. Mary’s Boatmens Association where they can then take part in various local excursions and explore these wonderful Islands.
